
Karen CHUKWU
Karen is a member of the London Court of International Arbitration, the Nigerian Bar Association and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom. After obtaining her Bachelors in Law from the University of Hertfordshire, UK, she proceeded to the University of East Anglia, Norwich to study a joint masters in Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law and took additional post graduate modules in International Commercial Arbitration, International Banking Law and International Oil and Gas. Together with her team, she represented the university of East Anglia at the 24th Willem C Vis International Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria.
Karen moved from the UK to Abuja where she started her legal practice working at the Federal High Court Headquarters, Abuja and at a notable law firm.
She is a qualified Project Manager and when she is not working in her capacity as a lawyer, she runs a Social Enterprise in Lagos working towards three of the Sustainable Development Goals to empower Nigerian women to lead better lives.
She currently serves as the legal adviser to a member of the Eko Atlantic City Advisory Board.
