Chidinma OLISA

Dinma, as she is fondly called, studied law at the University of Lagos, Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar Association in 2014.
She started her career in 2015 as an intern at the prestigious Copley Partners before proceeding to the University of East Anglia, England where she obtained an LLM in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law in 2017. During this time, she successfully represented her School in the Willem C Vis Moot International Arbitra-
tion Competition in Austria.

A scholar par excellence, her quest for knowledge led her to obtain a Certificate on General Intellectual Property Law from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy in 2018 and in 2019, obtained a Certificate on CopyrightX from the great Harvard Law School. She is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration, UK.
She’s currently a partner at Katwig & Dale where she tactically handles all kinds of work related to the protection and management of Intellectual Property portfolios of different clients, from small independents to large international organizations and Multinationals.

A critical thinker, Dinma likes the challenge to disentangle complex legal issues and make the subject-matter clear and understandable to her clients.
